70’s guys say MTV killed Rock. 80’s guys say Kurt Cobain (grunge) killed Rock. After that, Napster, streaming and downloading killed it.Nu-Metal might have taken over from there. Now Pop, R and B, and rap rule. Rock doesn’t currently hold a place in mainstream. But it’s not gone, it never will be.
